What happens when nature takes back what was taken from it? And in what stage of development is the given ecosystem in the middle of the city right now?

During the two-hour field workshop, we will focus on exploring the fenced construction pit next to the Sparta stadium. Through the ecological concept of succession and speculative scenarios, we will map both the reality and the potential future of this place.

Jana Stárková is a director, dramaturge, educator at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU (KALD DAMU), and the founder and artistic director of the Špatné divadlo collective. She collaborated on the European project UNLOCK THE CITY!, which focused on the dramaturgy of public space, and is the co-author of the book How to public space. She participated in the projects KULTURU NEZASTAVÍŠ, Televize Naživo, and the productions Lavabo, Ó, Effugio, Euchrid, and others. Previously, she held the position of dramaturge for the Cirk La Putyka ensemble and worked as a Location Manager for PQ Performances as part of the Prague Quadrennial 2023. In her work, she focuses primarily on movement and devised theatre, new circus, and is a proud member of the Veselé chvíle choir.

Ludvík Píza is a director, dramaturge, and creator in the field of devised theatre. He has a long-term focus on the dramaturgy of public space and strategies for inviting an uninitiated audience to an artistic event. In his work and life, he encourages the development of sensitivity and strives for a sustainable method of creation on both a human and material level. He is the co-author of the publication Jak na veřejný prostor: manuál umělecké observace (How to Public Space: A Manual for Artistic Observation) and occasionally works as an external educator at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU. He is currently a program manager and curator of the Signal Festival.
